The metrics of the mind: a transdisciplinary challenge
Abstract
In this essay we explore the hard challenge to measure the mind. To this, we have apriorially established the existence of a mental space. About it are projected the mental events, which possess three basic natures: sensation, emotion and thought. The ordinary mind does not perceive mental events in isolation, but as a continuum that runs through mental space. The prepared mind, like a sufficiently thin blade, has the ability to separate events, classify them and even explore its intimate nature. What matters to know through this research is that there is something similar to a metric of the mind, about which there is still much left to explore.
